You may be aware that CBSE is receiving many requests from students for correction in their personal data even after several years of passing Class X and Class XIl, CBSE is advising schools, students, and parents to provide correct data for the examination purpose in LOC. However, there seems to be no downfall in such request, CBSE will now take this issue seriously and strictly. Accordingly, for the first time, in the admit card now take this issue seriously and strictly.
- Accordingly, for the first time, in the admit card of 2019 Board Examination, parents and students were instructed to sign an undertaking that “Particulars including photo checked and found correct”.
- The next step which CBSE has initiated is that this year, at the backside of the Marksheet cum Certificate of Class-X, both Parents and Principal have to sign an undertaking that “I confirm that all particulars of the student/my ward and of Mother/Father/Guardian given on the front side of the certificate are correct to the best of my knowledge.”
- Shortly, the Marksheet cum Certificate will be supplied to the schools for handing over to the students/parents. While handing over the Marksheet cum Certificate, kindly ensure that parents are called to the schools and they may be asked to sign the undertaking. Principal will also sign the same undertaking at the appropriate place.
- It is felt that with these two steps, CBSE will be able to ensure that only correct data in LOC is received and documents with correct particulars issued to the candidates.
- This is for information and strict compliance please.
