Delhi Government's ambitious plans Door Step Service starts from Monday. With the introduction of this facility, you will be able to avail the facilities of 40 departments of the Delhi Government through a phone call sitting at home. At the same time, you will not have to face the problem of frequent government offices. Delhi Government Minister Kailash Gehlot said that apart from this, 40 services will be linked to this scheme in October. After this, a group of 30 services will be included. Home delivery of more than 100 services will start in the next two to three months.
How will the scheme work?
Delhi Government has given contract to VFS Global Service Private Limited for this important scheme. Dev Kumar, Business Head, South Asia, said that the 11 call centers have been arranged in 11 districts of Delhi to start this facility within Delhi. For which a helpline number has been arranged. In which you will be able to get information first by calling. Then you can take the information or feature associated with it.
However, the particular thing is that any employee whom the company sent to your home will arrive at your home according to your schedule. After that the company's mobile assistant will come to your house and check all the documentation and will validate and submit it. He will be uploaded online right there, if he needs a biometric investigation as per the need of the certificate, he will carry machine along with him.
Scan will be uploaded at the same time and fees can also be paid. A fee of Rs. 50 will have to paid for this service. At the same time, while submitting the documentation, if there is any problem or error due to the company's mobile assistant, then a penalty has been kept for it. In addition, if any consumer has any complaint with any service then his complaint will also be registered on customer care.
Which departments will be covered?
According to the revenue minister of the Delhi Government, Kailash Gehlot, 40 different departments of the Delhi government are included such as:
- Caste certificate,
- Residence certificate,Income certificate,
- Marriage certificate,
- Vehicles RC,
- RC address Changes,
- Ownership Transfer,
- Driving License,
- Old Age Pension Scheme,
- Water and sewer connections,
- Food department,
- Delhi Jal Board,
- Labor Department etc.
Check on corruption by this scheme:
Delhi Government Minister Kailash Gahlot said that the Delhi Government's transport department has the highest corruption. People had to face forced brokers. Also, for small things, the people had to go to the department. But now, since the start of this plan, the corruption will be stopped and people will not have to go to the departments repeatedly.
Also, if this facility will work well, then the Delhi government will start the home delivery system of even ration, so that people can get ration at home. Also, corruption in ration can also be stopped and the needy will get ration.
